Artists Statement
Heat and hammers, nothing in the technique is new, but the results are contemporary and timeless. Rustic and shiny. The contrasts are numerous, dark and light, soft and hard, utilitarian and beautiful. Just as in our marriage, the contrasts compliment one another, making the whole stronger than the individual.
Care and Feeding
We recommend cleaning the silver with Tarni-Shield™ by 3-M. Wipe it on using a cotton ball or soft sponge, do NOT dip the piece. Occasionally heat the steel with a hairdryer, when it is dry and warm, rub it with a very small amount of light oil. Between heavy cleanings you can effectively rub off light tarnish with a clean soft flannel cloth. Enjoy! |
